Dr. Peter Crabb
NNU business professor Dr. Pete Crabb presented the second lecture of four in NNU’s Centennial Series Faculty Award Lectures that emphasize the University’s values of transformation, truth, service and community. The theme of Crabb’s lecture was “Truth,” the second of the four values. The event was held Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the Jackson Brothers Lecture Hall, Thomas Family Health & Science Center.

Crabb’s lecture, “The ‘Crazy’ Idea of a Christian Libertarian Economist,” focused on how his Christian faith influences his study and teaching of economics, and how it affects his interaction with our culture.” The theme draws from the book, “The Idea of a Christian College,” by Arthur Holmes, that addresses how Christian colleges are distinct from other institutions of higher education because Christian scholars not only integrate faith and learning, but also faith and culture.
